About the product

The Spear and Jackson Select Carbon Edging Iron is a garden edging tool with a 215 mm (8½") heat-treated carbon steel head. Its treaded design allows foot pressure to be applied while cutting through turf and root systems to create or maintain borders around lawns and garden beds.

The head has an epoxy coating that protects it against rust, scratches, humidity and alkalis commonly found in soil. A tubular steel shaft and polypropylene T handle complete the tool, which has an overall length of 36". The T handle provides a grip for controlling downward pressure.
