About the product
The Spear and Jackson Razorsharp Advance Geared Anvil Secateurs are pruning secateurs for cutting old, hard and dry wood in gardens and landscaping. Their anvil action is also suitable for dead wood, dormant stems and aged growth.
A geared mechanism amplifies cutting force by 20%, and the maximum cutting capacity is 15 mm. The blades are made from SK5 steel and have a PTFE coating for corrosion resistance. The body is cast aluminium, with soft-grip handles, a finger guard and an ambidextrous locking catch for left- and right-handed users. The secateurs come with a 10-year guarantee.
