About the product
The Neverbend Professional 1072AY from Spear and Jackson is an Irish spade with a solid forged carbon steel head and socket. Its blade measures 330 × 165 mm, and the weatherproofed hardwood shaft is 915 mm long.
The spade has a T-shaped handle and a treaded design. Its solid neck is reinforced with three rivets and additional strapping. The head has a hammer-finish powder coating, which provides resistance to rust, scratches, humidity and alkalis commonly found in soil.
It exceeds BS3388 load testing requirements and comes with a 10-year guarantee.
