About the product

The Spear and Jackson Neverbend Carbon Treaded Border Spade is a garden tool with a forged carbon steel head and weatherproofed hardwood shaft. Its smaller head is intended for working in confined spaces and between established plantings, including digging and turning soil in borders and between plants.

The one-piece forged construction has an extra-long socket. The hammer-finished, powder-coated head offers resistance to rust, scratches and soil humidity. A treaded head and footplate design support digging, while the Supergrip handle has a forward tilt. The spade is lighter than a standard digging spade and exceeds the BS3388 load test.

  • Head: 280 mm × 180 mm
  • Shaft: 28 in
  • 15-year manufacturer's guarantee
