About the product

For automotive electrical testing, the Sealey Wire/Cable Piercing Test Lead Probe Set uses a spring-loaded clamp and self-centring stainless steel pin to pierce cable insulation and contact the conductor beneath. It allows voltage readings on live circuits without permanently damaging the insulation.

The fully insulated probes have 4 mm banana-style connectors, compatible with most multimeters and diagnostic analysers. They are rated for a maximum input of 50 V DC and accommodate cables up to 3.5 mm in diameter.
