The Sealey SM5 is a metal-cutting bandsaw mounted on a wheeled floor stand. Its cast base construction and horizontal and vertical cutting positions are designed for metal stock.

The three-speed drive provides blade speeds of 18, 30 and 48 m/min. An integral mitring vice has an adjustable scale from 45° to 90°. At 90°, cutting capacity is up to Ø115 mm for round stock or 100 x 150 mm for square or rectangular material. At 45°, capacity is up to Ø60 mm for round stock or 100 x 60 mm for square or rectangular material.
