About the product
The Sealey SA77 is a random orbital air disc sander with a 150 mm pad for professional finishing and surface preparation. Its aluminium body weighs 1.55 kg, and the double-bearing counterbalance assembly is designed to minimise vibration and fatigue during extended use.
The sander has a composite cap and internal baffle system; its stated noise power/pressure is 98/87 dB(A). A spindle lock enables pad changes, while an integrated airflow control valve allows sanding speed adjustment. The 150 mm hook-and-loop backing pad is supplied and accepts standard abrasive discs.
- Free speed: 10,000 rpm; orbit: 4.2 mm
- Operating pressure: 90 psi; air consumption: 4 cfm
- Inlet: 1/4 inch BSP; thread: 5/16 inch UNF
- Vibration/uncertainty: 2.0/1.5 m/s²
It is intended for work on metal, wood, plastics and composite surfaces, including panel preparation, filler work, primer flatting and final finishing. The sander is described as compatible with most workshop compressor setups.
