About the product

The Sealey SA501 is a pistol-type air needle scaler for removing heavy paint and rust scale from metal surfaces. It has variable speed trigger control and delivers up to 4500 blows per minute at 90 psi, with a 43 mm stroke.

Air consumption is 4 cfm, and the inlet is 1/4-inch BSP. The scaler is compatible with most workshop compressors equipped with a 1/4-inch BSP connection. Its removable needle head can be fitted with an appropriate chisel set and spring retainer to convert it to a standard air hammer; these accessories are available separately.
