About the product

The Sealey non-contact voltage detector AK1998 checks for live voltage without physical contact. It detects voltage from 80 V to 1000 V and has CAT III overvoltage protection.

Two selectable sensitivity settings, low (L) and high (H), allow detection sensitivity to be adjusted. A red LED display and audible alerts indicate voltage presence. The detector can be used to test cables, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures and fuses, and to identify wire and cable breaks.
