Sealey Digital Battery and Alternator Tester

The Sealey digital battery and alternator tester checks battery condition and charging system performance on motorcycles, cars including start/stop vehicles, and commercial vehicles. It tests batteries rated at 6/12 V, with a voltage range of 1.5–30 V and a minimum residual charge of 1.5 V.

Battery testing uses DIN, EN, IEC, JIS and SAE rating systems. Test ranges are 40–2830 CCA EN, 40–3000 CCA SAE, 30–1985 CCA IEC, 25–1685 CCA DIN, and JIS by battery type. CCA means Cold Cranking Amps. The tester has a 4-line LCD with prompts and a built-in thermal printer. Alternator testing checks charging systems at rest and under load. It tests 12 V and 24 V systems; the 24 V test is for alternators only.

PC software is compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8 and 10. The tester requires 6 AA batteries, which are not included. A storage case, printing paper and instructions are supplied. Printing roll pack of 2 part BT2012.V2-01 is listed as a consumable part.
