The Sealey AK72SPG is a folding screw pitch gauge for identifying UNC and UNF thread pitches on bolts, screws and threaded components. It has 30 individually stamped blades, each marked with its TPI rating.
The gauge covers American National Thread standards from 4 to 62 threads per inch. Its listed pitch values are 4, 4.5, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 48, 60 and 62 TPI. The folding design allows compact storage, and the net weight is 0.04 kg.
It is intended for thread identification, including in automotive work and machinery maintenance, and can be used when sourcing replacement fasteners or identifying unmarked components.
