About the product

The Ridgid DM100 Micro Digital Multimeter is a True RMS testing instrument with 11 electrical functions, including AC/DC voltage and current measurement. It measures voltage up to 1,000 V and current from 400.0 µA to 10 A, as well as resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle and temperature.

Temperature readings range from −20°C to 760°C. The 4,000-count backlit LCD, automatic polarity indication and auto-ranging support measurement, with manual ranging also available. Auto power-off activates after 15 minutes.

  • Resistance: 400.0 Ω–40.00 MΩ; capacitance: 4.000 nF–200.0 µF
  • Frequency: 9.999 Hz–9.999 MHz; duty cycle: 0.1%–99.9%
  • Diode check: 1.5 V; continuity test: 150 Ω
  • Double-moulded Class II insulation and IP67 water-resistant housing, rated to 1 m submersion
  • Drop-proof construction; CAT III 1,000 V and CAT IV 600 V ratings
  • Includes a soft carrying case, double-moulded test leads, Type K temperature probe and 9V battery

The instrument is described for electricians and contractors working in demanding environments. It has 0.5 A and 10 A, 1,000 V fuses.
