About the product

The Ridgid 690-I is a handheld pipe threading machine for threading pipe on site. Its 1,020 W single-phase motor runs on 110 V, and the machine has a stated capacity of 1/8 in to 2 in (3–50 mm).

The die-cast aluminium gear head is permanently greased. A quick-release system allows die heads to be installed and removed. The 692 support arm has a 2 ‘V’ jaw design, while the handle is overmoulded and contoured. The machine has a fibreglass-reinforced plastic body and a forward/reverse, on/off two-step momentary contact slide switch.
