About the product

The NGK R2558E-9 97537 is a Laser Iridium spark plug with original-equipment specification.

It has a laser-welded iridium centre electrode and a platinum pad on the ground electrode, making both wearing surfaces precious metal. The design allows for the very long service intervals scheduled for modern engines. Use it as a like-for-like replacement where the vehicle handbook specifies this part number. Consistent ignition over the plug's life keeps fuel consumption and emissions where the maker intended.
