This NGK LMAR8L-9 is a conventional nickel-alloy spark plug with a copper-cored centre electrode.
The copper core carries heat away from the firing tip quickly. The plug is designed to run cooler under load while burning off deposits at low speed, helping it resist overheating and fouling compared with a plain nickel plug.
