NGK Glow Plug Y-204TS1 (3829)

The NGK Y-204TS1 (3829) is a sheathed glow plug designed to provide additional energy for engine starting. Before the engine starts, it is energised and its glow tube heats to more than 800 °C.

Its dimensions are: 12 mm hex, M12 thread diameter, 1.25 mm thread pitch, 61.5 mm overall length, 21 mm heater tube length and an M5 threaded terminal. The marked voltage is 11 V.

The heat helps improve cold-starting ability and optimise combustion, reducing smoke and other emissions. Verify that the part is suitable for the intended vehicle if fitment is uncertain.
