Lumenition MTK007 Magnetronic Ignition Kit – Lucas 43D4, 45D4, 48D4, 54D4, 59D4

The Lumenition MTK007 is a Magnetronic electronic ignition kit for Lucas 43D4, 45D4, 48D4, 54D4 and 59D4 distributors. It is a module contained inside the distributor and is described for use with a range of four-cylinder classic British vehicles, including Triumphs and Minis.

All Lumenition Magnetronic kits require a standard contact breaker coil. A standard 12 V, 3 ohm coil is one option; the MS6 is given as an example. The alternative MS4 ballast coil must be used with a ballast resistor. Some vehicles have one built into the wiring loom; otherwise, an external resistor is needed.
