Lumenition MTK005 Magnetronic Ignition Kit – Lucas 22D6, 23D6, 25D6

The Lumenition MTK005 is a Magnetronic electronic ignition kit for Lucas 23D6 and 25D6 distributors. The product title also names Lucas 22D6 distributors and negative earth.

The module replaces points and condensers and fits entirely within the distributor. It requires a standard contact breaker coil. A standard 12 V, 3 Ohm coil is one option, with the MS6 given as an example. Alternatively, an MS4 ballast coil must be used with a ballast resistor; some vehicles have one built into the wiring loom, while others require an external resistor. The MS4 coil is supplied with a ballast resistor.
