The Moore and Wright 506 spring divider has a 150 mm (6 in) capacity and is made from polished tool steel. Its nominal size measures the distance between the centre of the roller and the working ends of the legs.
It is designed for applications requiring extended reach and wider working spans, including work on larger components, sheet metal and engineering tasks. The points are hardened to over 550 Hv, and a bow spring provides uniform tension throughout the working range. A centrally mounted adjustment screw allows fine adjustment. The divider is BS3123 compliant.
