About the product
The Monument 454B is a tap reseating tool for re-cutting the seats of worn taps and stopcocks without disconnecting them from the pipework. It fits 1/2in and 3/4in BS5412 bevelled seats.
The tool comes with 17mm and 20mm (11/16in and 13/16in) bevelled cutters and one double bush. Its parallel bushes are designed for use where internal threads prevent tapered cones from entering, including taps with recessed threads in the body.
Case-hardened cutters and a feedscrew for fine cutter adjustment are included in the design. All parts are interchangeable.
