About the product

The Milwaukee M18 BMT is a cordless oscillating multi-tool for cutting and removal applications. Its 18 V Milwaukee M18 Li-Ion battery system is supplied with 1 x 2 Ah and 1 x 4 Ah batteries, an M12-M18 charger and a kitbox.

Twelve variable speed settings cover 12,000–18,000 rpm, with variable speed control for adjusting cutting speed. The tool has 3.4° oscillation movement and a stated left/right oscillation angle of 1.7°. REDLINK overload protection and constant speed electronics are included.

The FIXTEC tool-free blade-change system has a universal blade-change adaptor. Other features include a cutting depth stop adaptor to help prevent over-cutting and bright LED workspace illumination. The stated applications include cutting and removal in metal, wood and plastic. The tool is described as a cordless solution with corded performance and as up to 50% faster.
