About the product

The Makita UH013G is a cordless hedge trimmer with a brushless motor, powered by a 40 V Max Makita XGT lithium-ion slide-type battery. Its single-sided 600 mm blade has triple-edged cutting teeth and is designed to catch and hold branches for cutting up to 23.5 mm in diameter.

  • Three speed settings: 2,000, 3,600 and 5,000 strokes per minute, with constant speed control under load.
  • Curved blades reduce friction resistance; the trimmer also has a reverse button, electric brake and chip receiver.
  • Safety features include two-handed start-up and a lock-off switch. It switches off automatically if left unoperated for 60 seconds after being turned on.
  • IPX4 water resistance. Noise: 91 dB(A) sound power, 80 dB(A) sound pressure and 3 dB(A) K factor.
  • Vibration is 2.5 m/sec² at each grip, with a 1.5 m/sec² K factor. Net weight: 3.9–4.5 kg.
  • A blade cover and chip receiver are included. Batteries and charger are not included.
