The Makita UC015G is a cordless brushless chainsaw with a rear handle, a 350 mm sprocket nose bar and tool-less saw-chain change and tension adjustment. It runs on 40 V Makita XGT Lithium-Ion batteries, which are not included; a battery charger is also not included.

Features include a main power switch with auto power-off, lock-off function, variable speed trigger control, electric and mechanical brakes, adjustable automatic chain lubrication, a metal spike bumper, ergonomic soft grip and a chain-oil view window. It is wet guard / IPX4 compatible.
