The Makita TW004G is a cordless, brushless impact wrench with a 1/2-inch square drive and C-ring. It runs on a 40 V Makita XGT lithium-ion battery system.

Features include an electric brake, constant speed control, forward and reverse rotation, and an auto-stop system for both rotation directions. The trigger provides variable speed, with a button to switch to full-speed mode; its shorter travel in that mode reaches full speed sooner. An LED job light, soft grip and four-stage electronic impact power selection are also included.
