The Makita M4501 is a 240 V reciprocating saw with a 1,010 W input and a built-in dust blower that clears the cutting area during operation.
It has variable speed control by trigger, a tool-less blade change and an adjustable shoe. The large two-finger trigger has a conveniently located lock-on button for continuous use. Its ergonomically designed handle has a rubberised soft grip, and the brushes are externally accessible for serviceability.
