About the product

The Makita HP002G is a 40 V Max XGT cordless combi drill with a brushless motor, powered by a Makita XGT Li-Ion battery.

It has two mechanical gears, variable speed control by trigger, forward and reverse rotation, constant speed control, an electric brake, a keyless chuck and an LED job light. Its construction includes an aluminium gear housing and all-metal gears; it also has an ergonomic soft grip and belt clip.

  • No-load speed: 0–600 rpm (low) and 0–2,200 rpm (high); impact rate: 0–9,000 ipm (low) and 0–33,000 ipm (high).
  • Drilling capacity: 13 mm in steel, 38 mm in wood and 13 mm in masonry. Torque settings: 21 + drill.
  • Maximum fastening torque: 30 Nm for a soft joint and 64 Nm for a hard joint.
  • Net weight: 2.0–2.6 kg. Vibration K factor: 1.5 m/sec². Noise: 87 dB(A) sound pressure, 98 dB(A) sound power; noise K factor: 3 dB(A).
