About the product

The Makita GD002G is a cordless die grinder in the 40 V XGT system, powered by a Makita XGT lithium-ion battery. This version has a paddle-style safety switch underneath the housing; motor power is cut when the switch is released.

Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) also cuts power if rotation speed suddenly drops, indicating working conditions that may cause hazardous kickback. XPT helps prevent dust and liquids from contaminating the internal components. The grinder has a brushless motor, variable speed dial, integrated LED worklight and shaft lock, allowing accessories to be changed with one spanner.
