About the product

The Makita GD001G is a cordless die grinder in the 40V XGT system, powered by a Makita XGT lithium-ion battery. This version has a lockable slide switch and a brushless motor.

AFT (Active Feedback Sensing Technology) cuts power if rotation speed suddenly drops, indicating working conditions that may cause hazardous kickback. XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) helps prevent dust and liquids from contaminating the internal components.

  • Variable speed dial; no-load speed: 7,000–29,000 rpm
  • 6 mm collet capacity and shaft lock; one spanner is needed to change accessories
  • Integrated LED worklight
  • Dimensions: 458 × 85 × 134 mm; net weight: 1.6 kg
  • Typical weight with battery: 2.2–3.4 kg
