The Makita GA9071X1 is a 230 mm paddle switch angle grinder with a D-shaped handle. Its handle is designed to protect the user’s hand from materials. Soft start provides smooth start-ups, while constant speed control applies additional motor power to maintain speed under load, up to 6,600 rpm.

The grinder has a mechanical brake, a rotatable vibration-absorbing main handle that can be positioned for cutting and grinding applications, anti-vibration housing and a three-position vibration-absorbing side grip.
