About the product

The Makita GA5080RX05 is a corded, 125 mm angle grinder with a slide switch and X-LOCK wheel mechanism. X-LOCK wheels can be installed or removed in a single action without a tool; pulling up the lever releases the wheel. The tool-less wheel cover allows adjustment, installation and removal.

It operates at 240 V with 1,400 W input, has a 22.23 mm bore and accepts wheels up to 125 mm in diameter and 6 mm thick. No-load speed is 12,000 rpm. Features include anti-restart, constant speed control, double insulation, an electronic current limiter for overload protection, soft start and the Super Joint System mechanical clutch system, which helps minimise motor and gear damage.
