Makita GA5080RX05 X LOCK Angle Grinder 125mm 110v

The Makita GA5080RX05 is a 125 mm angle grinder with a corded slide switch and X-LOCK mechanism. X-LOCK wheels can be installed or removed in one action without a tool; pulling up the lever releases the wheel. The tool-less wheel cover allows quick adjustment, installation and removal.

It operates at 110 V, with 1,400 W input, a 22.23 mm bore diameter, a maximum wheel diameter of 125 mm and a maximum wheel thickness of 6 mm. No-load speed is 12,000 rpm. Noise values are 95 dB(A) sound power and 84 dB(A) sound pressure, with a 3 dB(A) K factor. Surface-grinding vibration is 7.9 m/sec², with a 1.5 m/sec² K factor.

Features include anti-restart, constant speed control, double insulation, an electronic current limiter for overload protection, an on/off slide switch and soft start. The Super Joint System mechanical clutch helps minimise motor and gear damage. Included are Dust Cover attachments A, B and C, a Depressed Centre Wheel and an Anti-vibration Side Handle.
