About the product

The Makita GA5040C is a variable speed angle grinder with a 125 mm grinding disc diameter and 1400 W continuous input power. Its 240 V supply, M14 spindle thread and 22.23 mm bore size are specified for the tool.

Variable speed control gives a no-load speed of 2800–11000 rpm. The SJS mechanical clutch system helps minimise motor and gear damage, while an electronic current limiter helps protect the motor from overload. Anti-restart prevents accidental start-up even if the tool is plugged in and switched on. Constant speed control minimises reduction in rotation speed under load.

The grinder has a rubberised soft-grip handle for comfort and control, and its wheel guard can be adjusted without tools. The 2.5 m power supply cord is included with the listed accessories.
