The Makita GA4550/2 is a 115 mm angle grinder for cutting and grinding. Its paddle switch operates the tool, and the spindle lock is used for wheel changes.

Labyrinth construction seals the motor and bearings against dust and debris. The tool-less wheel cover can be fitted or removed, and is designed to help protect the operator from broken wheel or workpiece fragments with minimal cover movement. The side handle can be positioned on either side.
