About the product
The Makita DWD181ZJ is a wall scanner for locating hidden materials in walls, including metal, plastic and live electrical cables. It can be powered by Makita 14.4 V or 18 V LXT lithium-ion power tool batteries; a battery and charger are not included.
Its 4.1-inch full-colour screen shows object position, depth and other readings. Detection is indicated visually and with an audible signal. The scanner offers Dry Concrete, Wet Concrete, Partition Walls and Radar View modes, and can show up to three results on a split screen. Laser lines mark the sensor’s vertical centre and the scan axis, while an integrated LED worklight illuminates the work area.
