About the product
The Makita DUX18 is a cordless garden multi-tool with a brushless motor and a 2-in-1 split shaft design. The shaft allows attachments to be changed for tasks including hedge trimming, grass cutting and edging. It runs on Makita 18 V LXT lithium-ion batteries.
Features include a variable speed control dial, electronic two-speed operation, constant speed, soft start and an electric brake. The tool’s length and handle position are adjustable. Its no-load speed is 0–6800/9700 min; sound power level is 83.2–103.2 dB(A), and sound pressure level is 73–94.5 dB(A). Net weight is 2.4 kg and dimensions are 983 × 318 × 175 mm.
The kit includes two 6 Ah BL1860B LXT batteries, a DC18RC LXT charger, band assembly, 4 mm hex wrench, accessory bag and EM409MP split shaft line trimmer attachment.
