Makita DUR189 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Line Trimmer 300mm No Batteries No Battery Charger

The Makita DUR189 is a cordless line trimmer powered by an 18 V LXT lithium-ion battery, which is not included. Its brushless motor works with Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT), which adjusts speed and torque during operation. The cutting diameter is 300 mm, and the maximum output is 240 W.

The trimmer has a length-adjustable bending pipe shaft, overload protection, an electric brake, soft start, constant speed control and a reverse switch for grass clipping removal. A wire guard helps reduce the risk of damaging fences, flowers or ornaments, while a small protector gives a better view of the cutting area. The control-panel speed indicator shows three RPM levels and overload, overheat and over-discharge status.
