About the product

The Makita DUR189 is a cordless brushless line trimmer powered by an 18V LXT lithium-ion battery. Its 300 mm cutting diameter and Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which adjusts speed and torque during operation, are among its key specifications.

The brushless motor is designed to minimise battery drain. Features include an adjustable bending pipe shaft, overload protection, an electric brake, soft start and constant speed control. A reverse switch helps remove grass clippings. The wire guard reduces the risk of damaging fences, flowers or ornaments, while a small protector improves the view of the cutting area. The control-panel speed indicator shows three RPM levels and overload, overheat and over-discharge status.
