About the product

The Makita DUC353 is a cordless chainsaw with a brushless motor and a 350 mm bar, powered by two 18 V LXT Li-ion batteries for 36 V operation.

It has variable and constant speed control, an adjustment lever, electric chain brake, kickback brake, oil-capacity display, ergonomic soft grip, metal spike bumper and adjustable automatic chain lubrication. Chain speed is 0–20 m/s; chain pitch is 3/8 in and gauge is 0.043 in. The chain oil capacity is 200 ml.

  • Noise: 87.7 dB(A) sound pressure and 100.4 dB(A) sound power; K factor 2 dB(A).
  • Vibration when cutting wood: 5.3 m/s²; vibration K factor: 1.5 m/s². Net weight: 4.6–5.5 kg.
  • The main power system switches off if the lock-off lever is not gripped within 10 seconds of switch-on, or if the trigger is not squeezed within one minute. Drive brake safety systems are also included.
