The Makita DTW700Z is a cordless brushless impact wrench with a 1/2-inch square drive and C-ring. It runs on 18 V and is compatible with Makita 18V LXT batteries; the battery, charger and case are not included.

It delivers up to 700 Nm fastening torque and 1,000 Nm nut-busting torque. Bolt capacity is M10–M24 for standard bolts, M12–M16 for high-strength F10T bolts and M10–M16 for grade 10.9 bolts. The electronic four-stage impact power selection has maximum, hard, medium and soft settings. No-load speeds are 0–2,200 rpm maximum, 1,900 rpm hard, 1,200 rpm medium and 500 rpm soft. Impact rates are up to 2,700 blows per minute maximum, 2,400 high, 1,700 medium and 1,000 low.
