The Makita DTW1005 is a cordless 3/4-inch impact wrench with a brushless motor and a 19 mm square drive. It runs on a Makita 18 V LXT Li-Ion battery; a battery, charger and case are not included.

Features include constant speed control, four-stage impact power selection, C-ring socket retention with a hole, an electric brake and reverse rotation Auto Stop, which stops operation once the fastener is loosened. The battery protection system automatically shuts off power when the battery level drops too low. It also has a soft-grip handle, built-in LED work light and wide hanging hook. Applications named include scaffolding, automotive and construction.
