The Makita DTW1001 is a cordless 18 V brushless impact wrench with a 3/4-inch square driving shank. It uses a Makita LXT Lithium-ion battery, which is not included.

For automotive and other fastening tasks, it offers three electronic impact power settings: Hard, Medium and Soft. The trigger controls variable speed, and the wrench has forward and reverse rotation, an electric brake and a twin LED job light with afterglow.
