About the product

The Makita DTM53 is an 18V LXT cordless brushless oscillating multi-tool for cutting, sanding and scraping. It runs on the LXT Lithium-Ion battery platform and is supplied as a bare tool, without a battery, charger or case.

Speed is adjustable from 6,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute. Constant speed control maintains performance under load, while soft start provides a controlled start-up. The oscillation angle is 2 × 1.6° and the pad measures 93 × 93 × 93 mm.
