About the product

The Makita DRT50 is a cordless plunge router and trimmer kit powered by an 18 V lithium-ion battery from the LXT series. Its brushless motor is paired with an aluminium housing and base, and the battery mounts on top of the machine.

Features include a variable speed dial from 10,000 to 30,000 rpm, electronic constant-speed control under load, soft start, an LED job light, push-button lock on/off, shaft lock and connection to a dust extractor.

  • Plunge capacity: 0–40 mm with the trimmer base; 0–35 mm with the plunge base
  • Noise sound pressure: 78 dB(A); noise K factor: 3 dB(A)
  • Vibration K factor: 1.5 m/sec²; vibration when cutting MDF: 4.5 m/sec²; vibration: 2.5 m/sec²

The kit includes trimmer, plunge and tilt bases; straight and trimmer guides; a guide holder; dust nozzles for the trimmer and plunge bases; grip 36; two hex wrenches; a collet cone; template guides for the trimmer and plunge base; two BL1850B 18 V 5 Ah batteries; a DC18RC 18 V lithium-ion charger; and a Makpac Type 4 case.
