The Makita DRC300Z is a cordless robotic vacuum cleaner powered by one or two 18 V LXT lithium-ion batteries in parallel. Batteries, charger and case are not included; the contents include a side brush and wireless remote controller.

It offers Mapping and Free modes. Mapping can return the cleaner to its initial position, let users check cleaning results and set prohibited areas. A smartphone app supports cleaning settings, while boundary sensing uses magnet tape. The wireless remote controller operates the cleaner.
