The Makita DPO600RTE is a cordless brushless random orbit polisher with a 150 mm pad, powered by an 18 V battery. It is compatible with Makita 18 V LXT lithium-ion batteries and has variable speed control through a trigger and dial, plus constant speed control.

Normal mode uses forced pad rotation for rough polishing, such as surface treatment; Finishing mode uses free pad rotation for fine polishing. The polisher has soft start, a lock-on function and an anti-restart function. Its ergonomic soft grip, two-hand grip and elastomer bumpers allow it to rest upside down without damaging the workpiece. It also has removable dust covers and hook-and-loop pad mounting.
