Makita DML819 18v LXT Cordless Magnetic Work Light No Batteries No Charger No Case

The Makita DML819 is a cordless magnetic work light for tasks including vehicle engine-bay work, machinery compartments and on-site maintenance. It runs on the Makita 18v LXT lithium-ion battery platform and is compatible with all Makita 18v LXT batteries. The battery, charger and case are not included.

Its magnetic base attaches to steel structures, vehicle panels and equipment. The foldable LED head adjusts through 300° horizontally and 180° vertically. Three brightness settings provide 1,200, 800 or 500 lumens, with illuminance of 1,750, 1,150 or 700 lx respectively. The colour temperature is 5000K, and a diffusing lens spreads the light.

eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) enhances resistance to dust and moisture. A battery-capacity warning function reduces light output as the charge depletes. Runtime depends on battery capacity and brightness setting: with a 2.0Ah battery, 3 / 4.5 / 7.5 hours; 3.0Ah, 4 / 6.5 / 10 hours; 5.0Ah, 7.5 / 11 / 18 hours; 6.0Ah, 9 / 14 / 22 hours; 9.0Ah, 14 / 22 / 35 hours; and 12.0Ah, 18 / 29 / 46 hours.

The light measures 178 × 91 × 284 mm and folds to 178 × 91 × 161 mm. Its net weight is 0.9 kg; weight with a battery is 1.1–2.2 kg.
