The Makita DML812 is an 18v LED cordless torch with four lighting modes: spot, flood, spot and flood combined, and strobe. Its maximum output is 1,250 lumens, and spot mode provides a beam distance of up to 640 metres.
The head swivels through 90 degrees. XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) provides dust and water resistance. A memory function retains the last selected lighting mode when the torch is switched off, while a separate mode selection button operates independently of the main power switch. The battery protection system automatically cuts power output to preserve battery life.
