The Makita DLX2507TJ is a cordless drill and impact driver kit containing the DHP489 Hammer Driver Drill LXT and DTD153 Impact Driver LXT. Both tools have brushless motors and LED lights to illuminate work areas.

The DHP489 runs on an 18 V LXT Li-Ion battery. It has a 1.5–13 mm keyless chuck with a single metal sleeve and metal gear housing, a maximum wood drilling diameter of 38 mm with an auger bit, and maximum fastening torque of 73/40 Nm for hard and soft applications.
