About the product

The Makita DJR189 is an 18 V cordless brushless reciprocating saw powered by Makita LXT Lithium-Ion batteries. It has a counterweight mechanism and vibration-absorbing system to reduce tool vibration.

Its trigger provides variable speed control, alongside constant speed control. Other features include an electric brake, trigger lock and LED worklight with pre-glow and afterglow. The saw has a compact, lightweight design, one-handed grip and fixed shoe with a pivoting shoe plate. A redesigned blade clamp makes blade removal easier.
