The Makita DHR243 is an 18 V cordless SDS Plus rotary hammer drill with a brushless motor and three operating modes. Its quick change chuck system is included for different drilling applications.

Drilling capacities are 24 mm in concrete, 13 mm in steel and 27 mm in wood. The impact energy is 2.0 J, the blow rate is 0–4700 bpm and the no-load speed is 0–950 rpm.

  • Vibration: 3.5 m/sec² for drilling, 13.5 m/sec² for hammer drilling and 10.5 m/sec² for chiselling; K factor: 1.5 m/sec².
  • Net weight: 3.4 kg.
  • Supplied with a depth stop, side handle, quick change chuck, two BL1850B 18 V 5 Ah lithium-ion batteries and a DC18RC compact charger.
  • Also included are a Makpac inner tray and Makpac Type 4 connector case, which connects with Makita's stackable Makpac storage solution.
